Andile Mpisane wedded Tamia Louw last weekend in a glamorous wedding ceremony which has been the talk of town in recent days.
Andile, his mother Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize and Sithelo Shozi have been trending on social media following the wedding.
The footballer and chairman of Royal AM surprised many who thought that he would settle for Sithelo Shozi with whom he has two kids.
It wasn’t meant to be as Andile walked the aisle with Tamia Louw and the glamour and glitz displayed in videos of the ceremony were out of this world.
Fans were also left a bit confused as Andile seemed to propose, engage and wed Tamia all in one big ceremony.
While Mzansi were scratching their heads trying to figure out how and when Tamia and Andile got into a relationship, MaMkhize had already accepted her daughter-in-law into the new family.
She even had some pearls of wisdom for the newlyweds.
“My advice to you and the new Mrs AM @tamia_mpisane marriage is not easy, it’s something you work on daily. Even on the bad days, always choose one another.
Respect each other and make sure that God remains at the centre of your union. ✨✨✨and having unconditional love, LOYALTY must be key,” she said in an Instagram post.
MaMkhize was to later suffer a fierce attack on social media by fans who thought it was not right for her to support her son to marry Tamia leaving Sithelo. Others even accused her of hating Sithelo hence she supported her son after getting another woman.
“On the back of a very eventful weekend, I would just like to set the record straight on a few things, especially after some of the false narratives put out there,” MaMkhize responded through an Instagram post.
“I personally have no grudges or any untoward feelings against the mother of my grandkids. She’s given me two beautiful grandchildren which binds us forever and I will always consider her to be like a daughter to me.”
“As a mother, it is my job to guide and support my son’s decisions. And I would like it to [be] known that I will never choose for him.
“I’ve lived my life and learnt my lessons! I will never take away the opportunity for him to live his own life and learn his lessons along the way,” she added.
