Khama Billiat Turns Down Kaizer Chiefs Offer for New Deal

News reaching @SportTrendsZA is that Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has turned a new offer from the club.

Kaizer Chiefs who snapped Billiat from Mamelodi Sundowns, are in danger of losing the forward after turning down a new offer from the club.

The Zimbabwean forward contract with Amakhosi is expiring at the end of the season, but the Glamour Boys have set their sight on extending Billiat stay at Naturena village.

According to a source within Chiefs camp, Billiat turned down the offer because Chiefs are looking to cut his pay with 20%.

“Khama Billiat refused to extend his contract with Kaizer Chiefs.

“Billiat simply told the Management that he wants to leave .It is very unclear what angered Billiat because few days ago he seemed to be happy to play Under the leadership of Gavin Hunt.

“It is believed that it could be because chiefs wants to cut Billiat salary by 20% in his next contract. Reason being he failed to deliver silverware since joining the club and he is earning more than anyone at Naturena village.

“Khama will be able to sign a pre-contract with any club in January.

“A move back to Chloorkop could materialize since Pitso Mosimane is no longer there,” added the source.
