If Kaizer Chiefs kept Maluleka until the end of the season – Neil Tovey

Neil Tovey said if they (Kaizer Chiefs) kept Maluleka until the end of the season, they would have won the league.

“Yes, Maluleka signed a new contract with Sundowns but me as a coach, I would not have wanted him to go,” Tovey.

He further more said:
“I would have sat him down and said, ‘Look, I realise that you are leaving, but we are professionals. We expect you to honour your contract until the end of the season. I would have also made it public to the fans that George is a professional player, we are a professional club and we want to keep him until the end of the season. And he has given utmost dedication to winning the league championship. I don’t think he had to leave. I think had they kept Maluleka until the end of the season, they would have won the league.”
